Dear Friends,
Chapel Hill Mortuary and Cherish are once again honored to partner as a host site for the Worldwide Children’s Memorial Candle Lighting which is scheduled for Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. This year, our event will be shared entirely on our website at www.stlfuneral.com and www.cherish.org along with our respective Facebook Pages on that Sunday at 7:00 p.m.

Unfortunately, we will be unable to gather in person.

We hope you will consider participating in one of the following ways, as we prepare for this event:
1.) Stop-by our offices between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (with less than 10 people, in masks) to light a candle and say the name of your child. Our staff will capture this in a short video and prepare this video to be shown as part of the event on the evening of Sunday, December 13th.
2.) Light a candle at your home (or another special place) and send us this short video. You can email this video to lesley@stlchapelhill.com. This video will be shown as part of the event on the evening of Sunday, December 13th.
3.) Send a photo of your child. You may email this photo to lesley@stlchapelhill.com and confirm how you would like the NAME of your child to appear.

For us to prepare the program in time for Sunday, December 13th, we must receive all videos and photos by the end of the day on Monday, December 7, 2020.

This event, like so many others, may be organized differently, but is just as important to us in remembering those who are so important to you. Together We Grieve – Together We Remember – Together We Grow.

Warmest Regards,
Brian May – Chapel Hill Mortuary
Vicky James – Cherish
