Families come to us with tragic stories. Some have watched their spouse or family member succumb to a long illness. Others have experienced the sudden loss of a loved one. At Cherish, we understand what the grieving process is like, and we know there can be new life after a painful loss.

That’s why we’re here.

Our Holiday Memorials are hosted by our Chapel Hill families. The brief program offers helpful ideas, practical suggestions, and valuable insights; including effective ways that other individuals approach the holidays. For more information on this or any of our upcoming events, please visit our events page.

For 25 years, Chapel Hill has offered a wide range of grief services for families suffering the loss of a loved one. Providing more than just comfort, we help you find hope, meaning, and security as you journey toward healing.

Our Process

Helping Families Through the Acute Loss Period

At Cherish, we teach every family about the period of time between a death and the onset of grief known as the Acute Loss Period. Our goal is to help families establish the vital habits and connections they need in this time of intense emotional loss. We will give you an intentional path toward healing in which your emotional, relational, and spiritual needs can be met.

We link families with resources, remembrance events, and support groups that will aid in your healing and help you keep the memory of your loved one alive.

You are not alone.
