Each year, the Cherish Chapel Hill Mortuary Parent Support Group joins together with the community to walk together as a way to help cope with the loss of a child. Walk with us, as we honor those children who have left us too soon. Join us on Saturday, September 12, 2020 as we celebrate our children’s lives and find support in the CHERISH community. Our schedule is as follows:
- 9:30am- Meet at Northwest High School Lower Parking Lot
- 10:00 am- Begin the walk to Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (For those who prefer not to walk, please meet at Chapel Hill at 11:00 am.)
- 11:00 am- Service of Remembrance at Tim Jones’ Shelter in Memorial Gardens, followed by a balloon release.
To register for the walk please fill out the form on this page. The event is completely complementary, however this is a small fee for those who wish to order T-shirts. T-shirts for the event can be ordered on the following website.
To ensure your t-shirt will arrive in time for the walk, be sure to place your order by noon on Monday, August 24th.
